Our Story

Hej,  I'm Hilary Ashlund, the designer behind Scandi Land Design. For over a decade, I've poured my creativity into crafting captivating interiors through my residential design studio. Now, I'm thrilled to expand my passion, bringing my modern Scandinavian-inspired art to homes, commercial properties, and, excitingly to license for product lines.  I’ve been drawing and painting since I was a child and reconnected with my art during the pandemic. Art has always been my soother and I hope it brings you as much joy as it does me.

All of our artwork begins as a hand-drawn or painted original, created on a variety of surfaces from watercolor paper to canvas. We love to build on these initial layers using a range of mixed media, including pencils, inks, and acrylics, to create rich, unique pieces.
